Sarah Zeta Zuckerman explores consumer culture and the natural world with an expanding vocabulary of symbolic images. Zeta works primarily with recycled materials, which are altered or reused and then collaged and/or painted on. Her multi media work finds the overlap between personal and political, and her Latina and Hebrew roots speak to the subject matter she explores. Though she identifies with many mediums, she returns often to painting, and works on a number of different surfaces to create imagery.
As of late, she has been creating installations, large scale puppets, collaborative works, and is working on a visual theatre project.
